Political science professor Bill Anderson will discuss his study on the economic impacts of the new Windsor-Essex Parkway when he appears on CJAM 99.1 FM this afternoon.

Earlier this year Dr. Anderson received a $115,000 grant from the Ontario Ministry of Transportation to study the economic impact of the $1.6 billion, 11-kilometre stretch of roadway that will connect Highway 401 with a new Detroit River crossing to be built downstream from the Ambassador Bridge. Anderson's study will focus mainly on the employment and income stimulus due to construction, as well as the spin-off benefits of improved mobility and access.

Anderson will appear on Research Matters, a weekly talk show that airs Thursdays at 4:30 p.m.
