#2011-NU-22 Internal Auditor, Internal Audit Office

Reporting the Internal Audit Manager, the Internal Auditor is responsible for planning and executing individual audit engagements as determined by the annual audit plan schedule. This will include performing risk assessments, developing and executing audit programs, and documenting findings. The Internal Auditor will facilitate the communication of audit results through written reports and oral presentations to management. The successful candidate must possess a university degree with a minimum of three years of combined experience in accounting, management or auditing, or a college diploma in accounting or business administration with at least six years of combined experience in accounting, management or auditing. The successful candidate will also have excellent knowledge of internal control concepts and computerized systems including Excel, Word, and ACL. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to be a team player, along with the ability to excel at listening and interviewing are essential. The successful candidate must have demonstrable ability to ability to work with all levels of management and staff, as well as, excellent problem solving and organizational skills. Demonstrated time management skills as well as flexibility to adapt to changing priorities are also necessary skills. An accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA), MBA, or CIA (certified internal auditor) would be considered an asset.

#2011-NU-23 Receptionist/Secretary, Office of the President

Reporting to the Executive Secretary to the President, the position of Receptionist/Secretary independently undertakes numerous administrative communication and compilation duties for the Office of the President, as well as performs a variety of tasks in support of the Executive Secretary’s routine daily responsibilities. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years experience of providing effective and comprehensive secretarial support with the highest degree of professionalism, preferably in an executive setting. The candidate will have demonstrated ability in working with sensitive and highly confidential matters, as well as possess excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to exercise independent initiative and to remain professional in all situations is also essential.
