Planned Outage: UWinsite Student – Saturday, May 9, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Complete

UWinsite Student will be unavailable on Saturday, May 9, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. while IT Services perform System maintenance. Please note that this outage window is an estimate, and system availability may be restored earlier or later than expected depending on maintenance progress.

Important Note: The last day for late registration and change of courses for Inter-Session (6-week) is Sunday, May 10. UWinsite Student will is expected to be back online by 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, for those who wish to complete these tasks.

The systems listed here may be affected because they share data with UWinsite Student. While these systems will remain available during the outage, they will not receive updates until system service is restored.

Temporary Regional Website Outage for uwindsor.ca – May 8, 2026

We are currently experiencing a temporary outage of the uwindsor.ca website affecting some regions worldwide. If this issue impacts your location and you have an active UWin ID, you can access affected services by downloading and installing a VPN client.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience.

UWinsite Student Maintenance - Thursday, May 7 from 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

On Thursday, May 7, IT Services will be performing system maintenance on UWinsite Student between 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. During this time, connectivity may be briefly interrupted in which case you may have to log in again.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Wireless network maintenance - Friday, May 1, 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
IT Services will be performing maintenance on the wireless network Friday May 01 between 6:00AM and 8:00AM. During this time, there will be rolling outages around the network as wireless access points reboot. Each wireless access point reboot should take approximately 10 minutes.

System Migration - StarRez (Power BI, integrations for: Fusion, Sonia, UWinsite Finance) from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m

On Tuesday, April 28, IT Services will complete a system migration for Star Rez between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. 

Related systems will remain functional; however, the integration processing between the related systems and UWinsite systems might be delayed during this outage.

System Migration – Bookstore Database and App Server – Monday, May 4 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

On Monday, May 4, IT Services will complete a system migration for the Bookstore Database and Bookstore App Server from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. During this time, the application will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
