 Why Study Social Work At The University Of Windsor?

Social Work is both the art and the science of providing services designed to assist people individually and in relationship to their environment. It is a growing and challenging profession committed to the improvement of the quality of life for individuals, families, communities and society.

The mission of the School of Social Work is to promote social justice through quality professional education, advocacy, community partnerships, and the development and dissemination of knowledge.

Accredited Programs

The University of Windsor has a variety of BSW, MSW and PhD programs to choose from.

All our BSW and MSW programs are fully accredited by the Canadian Association of Social Work Education.  Graduates are eligible for membership in the Ontario Association of Social Workers, the Canadian Association of Social Workers and are eligible to apply for certification to the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers

During the Fall of 2011, the School of Social Work is renewing it's Accreditation through the Canadian Association for Social Work Education.  The Executive Summary of the accreditation is available to the University community.
