Applicants must have completed (or be in the process of completing) all Pre-Social Work course requirements and have a minimum average of 8.0 in Social Work courses. An 8.0 cumulative average is also highly recommended.

This is a two-year, four-semester program leading to a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree.
Volunteer or work experience in human service agencies and community organizations is a definite asset.
Alternate Admission: Students may return to the University of Windsor and enrol in the pre-social work program in order to complete the four required social work courses (47-117, 47-118, 47-204 and 47-210). Students should ensure that their first degree contained two science courses and 02-250 (or equivalent). If those courses were not taken in the original degree, students are expected to complete these courses prior to applying for admission to the professional years of the program (3rd year). Students with a previous degree do not need to have taken FAW I and II. Students applying in this way will have their courses taken within the degree and courses taken here since graduation calculated to provide a cumulative average, which must be at least a 7.0 (C+). In addition, students must obtain a major average for their social work courses of at least 8.0 (B-). Students who are offered admission will be responsible for completing 18 of the 20 courses required for the BSW degree completion program, providing the courses 47-204 and 47-210 were taken outside of their original degree.
