Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminology at the University of Windsor offers five undergraduate programs, including Sociology, Anthropology, Criminology, Family and Social Relations and Studies in Sexuality. In addition, we also offer a Master's Program in Sociology and a Master's Program in Criminology and a Doctoral Program in Sociology specializing in Social Justice. Each of these programs offers a selection of required and optional courses taught by excellent fulltime faculty members, and adjunct and sessional instructors.
Involvement in the generation of ideas and interests, whether as a graduate or undergraduate student, means an interesting and dynamic education for you. Our faculty members maintain strong research records and stay at the cutting edge of their fields of expertise. Students graduating from our programs have found work in fields both traditional (Chief of Police) and innovative (Head Librarian). The Department is assisted by professional and caring support staff, located on the first floor of Chrysler Hall South. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
