About the Event
Patients and clients often find solace and strength in spirituality amidst illness, fostering hope, safety and resilience. Spiritual practices, ranging from prayer, meditation, or rituals, to participating in reading, art, music, and other forms of expression, can provide comfort, safety, peace, and a sense of connection beyond physical suffering. This holistic approach acknowledges the profound impact of spirituality on a person’s journey of healing, dying, and/or coping with health challenges that typically arise when they or a loved one is admitted to a health-care facility such as hospital, long-term care home, hospice, palliative care, or nursing home.
