GATAcademy is an extended professional development event open to all current and prospective UWindsor graduate assistants (GAs) and teaching assistants (TAs).
Offering a series of interactive workshops led by experienced professionals from across the campus, GATAcademy features resources and activities relevant to both new and experienced GAs/TAs. Topics include mastering technology in the classroom, conducting effective labs and tutorials, best practices in grading and feedback, and a whole lot more!
GATAcademy 2026 will be held online, September 1, 2 and 9 and each day will feature seven workshops and an exciting networking event. Please note that all online workshops will be offered online through Microsoft Teams. You will be emailed the link to the virtual classroom the week before the event.

Winter GATAcademy
