GATAcademy is a week-long professional development event open to all current and prospective UWindsor graduate assistants (GAs) and teaching assistants (TAs).
Offering a series of interactive workshops led by experienced professionals from across the campus, GATAcademy features resources and activities relevant to both new and experienced GAs/TAs. Topics include mastering technology in the classroom, conducting effective labs and tutorials, best practices in grading and feedback, and a whole lot more!
GATAcademy 2023 will be held online from August 28th to September 1st and each day will feature three workshops. Please note that all online workshops will be offered online through Microsoft Teams. You will be emailed the link to the virtual classroom the week before the event. There will also be an in-person session on IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) and networking event on September 6th. More details to follow in the coming weeks!
