Luncheon to celebrate launch of Business of Innovation Program

The Centre for Enterprise and Law is hosting a campus luncheon to celebrate the launch of its Business of Innovation Program on Friday, October 14.

The program will nurture the business ideas of young entrepreneurs while offering an experiential learning opportunity to students. A series of workshops will focus on key legal and business aspects of starting an enterprise. They will run 6 to 8 p.m. in Alumni Hall’s McPherson Lounge:

  • Setting up your business, October 20
  • Running your business, November 3
  • E-Commerce, November 17

The October 14 luncheon is free and open to the campus community. It runs 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Ambassador Auditorium, CAW Student Centre. Guest speakers Lora Crestan of Solstice Group Coaching, Peter George of Gengrowth, and Gary Kalaci of Alexa Translations will discuss important factors to consider as an entrepreneur, the ins-and-outs of owning a business and entrepreneurial best practices.
