The campus campaign for United Way will celebrate the start of its canvassing blitz today by raising a United Way banner to fly with the University's flag.

The university community is invited to a ceremonial flag-raising, Monday, October 17, at 12:45 p.m. outside Chrysler Hall Tower.

The University of Windsor is one of more than 500 local workplaces to support the annual campaign. Last year, its faculty and staff donations topped $100,000, an amount United Way CEO Penny Marrett called crucial to meeting her organization's goals.
