Campus rolling out the red carpet for open house visitors

The University of Windsor will welcome prospective students and their families during its Fall Open House from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, November 4.

Campus employees are reminded to welcome visitors and direct them to the Welcome Centre in the CAW Student Centre. The guests will have the opportunity to tour the campus, attend presentations on academic programs, learn about services at an information fair, and speak with professors and current students.

The Welcome Centre will also showcase the UWindsor booth from the Ontario Universities Fair.

“The open house is a great opportunity for high school students and parents to see the university up close and personal,” says Zora Savic, student communication and events coordinator. “Students and parents can find out more about our programs and services, enjoy a free lunch, visit residence, and enjoy a jazz performance by School of Music students.”

She says that hundreds of faculty, students and staff from all areas are participating and have been working to prepare for the event: “So if you meet any of our visitors, please say hello and give them a warm Windsor welcome!”
