Ontario University Athletics named third-year guard Josh Collins its male athlete of the week after he led the Lancer men’s basketball team to back-to-back victories to open 2012.

Collins scored a team-high 19 points in Wednesday’s 78-64 win over McMaster and led all scorers with 26 points in Windsor’s 70-59 win over Guelph on Saturday. Read more at goLancers.ca.

Lancer basketball returns to action for a third straight home game on Wednesday, January 11, hosting the Waterloo Warriors at the St. Denis Centre. The women tip off at 6 p.m. and the men at 8 p.m.
