Composers to discuss their work and inspiration

UWindsor music professor Brent Lee is one of the featured composers at the 16th annual Windsor Canadian Music Festival who will join in a roundtable discussion of their work on Wednesday, February 8.

Besides Lee, the discussion will include David Eagle, Keith Hamel , James Harley and Christien Ledroit. It begins at 4 p.m. in the Music Building’s Recital Hall, room 139. It is free and open to the public.

Following at 10 p.m. Wednesday, the Phog Phunk Phest VI will bring together music students and guests for a jam session at 10 p.m. at the Phog Lounge, 157 University Avenue West.

The festival is a collaboration between the University of Windsor School of Music and the Windsor Symphony Orchestra. Find a full schedule of events on the School of Music Web site.
