Report reviews 2011-12 progress toward strategic priorities

The 2011-12 annual report, now available online, provides information on the University of Windsor’s activities in support of its strategic plan Thinking Forward … Taking Action.

UWindsor president Alan Wildeman says the document informs the campus, the region and beyond about what’s important to the University.

“Our plan puts an emphasis on our students, on building on our research and creative activity that contributes to society’s needs, and engaging the community around us,” he says.

He notes that what is important gets measured, and the report identifies a number of key indicators, including Total Assets, Total Capital Assets, Long-Term Debt, Endowments, Revenue, Expenditures, Fundraising and Student Enrolment.

“We are taking a fiscally responsible approach to investing in our priorities, recognizing that we have a responsibility to all of you to be the most efficient we can be,” says Dr. Wildeman.

The report also highlights stories that illustrate momentum toward reaching the University’s goals as well as the Campus Transformation Plan, which will help to shape UWindsor for the next half-century.
