In a message sent to all UWindsor staff and faculty Wednesday, president Alan Wildeman described celebrations planned in honour of the University’s 50th anniversary and pointed out that events will continue beyond the September 19 to 22 focal point to encompass the entire year.
“I trust that the 50th anniversary will create opportunities for all of you to be proud of your University,” he wrote.
Dr. Wildeman also provided a comment on the status of collective bargaining, a projection of the 2014/15 budget and a summary of realignment to address a projected shortfall of $4.8 million.
