A meet-and-greet Thursday will offer a chance to learn more about the Feminist Research Group.

A multidisciplinary group of graduate and undergraduate students, alumni, and faculty at the University of Windsor committed to feminist and women-centred works and research, the group seeks to develop and maintain a feminist community that welcomes, encourages, validates and challenges its members in an environment that promotes personal and professional networking.

“Becoming involved in the FRG is an amazing opportunity to meet new people, discuss feminist issues, be exposed to new ideas, and develop professionally,” says organizer Rochelle Stevenson.

Thursday’s event will include a discussion about self-care and life after grad school. It runs 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Green Bean Café, 2320 Wyandotte Street West. For more information, e-mail frg@uwindsor.ca.
