Senate has approved a new name for the Faculty of Education that reflects its integration of the Centre for Teaching and Learning.

The Faculty of Education and Academic Development will contribute to teaching and learning both on campus and in the external educational community, Senate heard at its meeting June 6. The organizational partnership will offer opportunities to integrate, enrich, and re-orient the scholarship, pedagogical, academic technological expertise, and services of both units.
