The University of Windsor campus community is invited to a special Remembrance Day ceremony today at 10:45 a.m. at the east entrance of Memorial Hall.

The Office of Human Resources has made a provision for non-essential university employees to attend the ceremony, which is expected to last until approximately 11:15 a.m. In particular, anyone on campus who has served in the military is especially welcome to attend.

Those on campus who cannot attend are invited to observe two minutes of silence at 11 a.m.

Poppies are available at UWindsor Tim Hortons outlets and at the information desk in the CAW Student Centre. The Legion, a veteran services organization, runs its Poppy Campaign each year from the last Friday in October until Remembrance Day.
