Conference to showcase research of undergraduate students

The organizers of UWill Discover—the first annual University of Windsor Undergraduate Research Conference—have issued a call for proposals from undergraduate students in all disciplines.

An opportunity to showcase work in a professional setting before peers, faculty, and the community, the conference will take place over one day in March 2015. It will operate fully digitally, saving the costs of printing materials, and enabling work to be connected with interested readers around the world.

Students may present work in one of four categories: posters, oral presentations, performances, and demonstrations or installations. Projects may be traditional research or creative endeavours. All proposals must have a faculty sponsor.

Cash prizes are available in a number of categories, and additional awards such as internship opportunities may apply in some disciplines.

The deadline for submissions is February 5. Find more information, including acceptance criteria, an online registration form, and an instructional video on the submission process, on the conference website.
