Toe-tapping tunes to conclude cabaret concert

The University Jazz Ensemble’s annual Cabaret Concert, Sunday, March 29, is two shows in one.

The group, directed by Bob Fazecash, will open the evening with selections by popular songwriters ranging from Stevie Wonder and Burt Bacharach to jazz greats Oscar Pettiford and Wayne Shorter.

After the concert portion of the evening, the audience is invited to the dance floor as the ensemble becomes a big band featuring singers Leah Wilkinson, Brady Anderson, Lisette Gagnon, Emilie Mossman and Pia Lampitoe.
