Men’s hockey adds former NHLer to coaching staff

Head coach Kevin Hamlin of the Lancer men’s hockey team has added Andy Delmore to his coaching staff for the 2015-16 season, starting July 12.

A LaSalle native, Delmore most recently spent two seasons as an assistant coach with the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League. He played 16 seasons of professional hockey, including parts of seven seasons in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers, Nashville Predators, Buffalo Sabres and Columbus Blue Jackets.

“We are thrilled to be able to add Andy as an assistant coach for next season,” says Hamlin. “He brings outstanding credentials and experience to our program and his extensive playing career in the National Hockey League brings instant credibility with our players.”
