Drama students look to share theatre experience with UWindsor employees

Working to improve the student experience can sometimes seem a thankless task, but students in the School of Dramatic Art are aiming to show their appreciation starting this week.

The drama student society, Club SODA, is sponsoring a ticket giveaway to University Players performances as a giant “thank-you” to campus workers.

President Billy Chandler will kick off the year-long campaign today by visiting the office of a deserving department to distribute enough tickets for the entire staff to attend the Saturday evening performance of the company’s season opener, Anna in the Tropics.

“This is only a start, but we’re hoping to show in a tangible way how grateful we are to the people working to make the student experience at our university exceptional,” Chandler says.

He will hit an office between 1:30 and 2 p.m.—maybe it will be yours!
