Musician Greg Samek, conceptual artist Iain Baxter& and members of Noiseborder Ensemble will join forces for a performance of marimba and multimedia works Friday, January 22, at noon in Studio A, Lambton Tower.

“Sensory Deprivation” will feature a combination of acoustic and electronic instruments as well as live processing and mixing of sound and video. It is free and open to the public. Learn more on the event website.

A UWindsor music grad, Samek (BMus 2006) toured with the percussion ensemble Scrap Arts Music for seven years, including a performance at the closing ceremonies of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.
