IT Services receives show of thanks for student support

Information Technology Services provides “incredible support” for UWindsor students, says Billy Chandler, president of the drama student society Club SODA. He led a delegation Wednesday presenting complimentary theatre tickets to its staff.

“I would personally be lost if I didn't have CLEW and Blackboard up and running, if my UWin number and e-mail didn’t function properly,” he says. “So much of the technological aspect is easy to take for granted, but the ease that we find on our side is due to so much work on theirs.”

Chandler says he is grateful to have IT staff working to keep data flowing, and happy to have a chance to show thanks by providing them with free admission to the current University Players production, An Experiment with an Air Pump. The play's run continues through February 7 in the Essex Hall Theatre. Find tickets at www.UniversityPlayers.com or by calling the box office at 519-253-3000, ext. 2808.
