Young entrepreneurs in Windsor can win support for their business ideas through the EPIC Founders program, which provides $6,000 over 12 weeks to work full-time on developing their ventures.

Students and recent graduates of the University of Windsor are among those eligible to join mentors from May 9 to July 29, culminating in a pitch on August 10.

The deadline to apply is March 20, and startup founders must:

• detail their business ideas;
• introduce members of their teams;
• describe the problems addressed by their products;
• discuss what they have done to validate their ideas.
