Session to present info on protecting intellectual property

A session on patent and copyright law will introduce a series on legal issues facing startups and new ventures.

The Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre) presents the inaugural lecture in its Law Lunch and Learn Series, “Copyright or Patent? How to Protect my Software,” at noon Tuesday, October 18, room 2102 in the Ron W. Ianni Faculty of Law Building.

Have you ever wondered how to legally protect a line of code, an app or an interface? Learn from Jenna Wilson, a partner at the law firm Dimock Stratton, with 17 years of experience in intellectual property law.

The event is free and includes lunch for attendees with advance registration through the EPICentre website.
