Five members of the Lancer women’s soccer team have been named all-stars by Ontario University Athletics.
Midfielder Abby Hunt is the first Lancer honoured as the west division’s most valuable player; goaltender Krystin Lawrence and defender Keely Baggio join her as first-team all-stars. Midfielder Giulia Barile and forward Becca Fuerth are second-team all-stars for the second straight year.

The team has a chance to earn more laurels this weekend as it competes in the Ontario University Athletics championship tournament in London. Windsor will meet the Ridgebacks of UOIT in a semi-final Friday at 3 p.m. and play for a medal on Sunday, time and opponent depending on the results of the semis.
Two members of the men’s soccer team also won all-star berths. Goalie Kyle Vizirakis will represent Windsor on the first team and defender Marco Bernabo is a second-team selection. Read more at goLancers.ca.
