Lancers and Laurier to face off in game two of men’s hockey series

The Lancer men’s hockey team will hit the ice at South Windsor Arena on Friday for the second game in a best-of-three opening round playoff series against the Laurier Golden Hawks. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

General admission is $10, with a youth and seniors rate of $8, and just $3 for UWindsor students with ID.

Laurier holds the advantage after a 4-3 overtime victory in game one, Wednesday in Waterloo. Game three, if necessary, will be back in Waterloo at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Volleyball will host the Toronto Varsity Blues on Friday and the Trent Excalibur on Saturday in the Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse. Both evenings, the women will play at 6 p.m. and the men at 8 p.m.

Lancer basketball will tip off against the Brock Badgers in the St. Denis Centre on Saturday; the women play at 1 p.m. and the men at 3 p.m.

Women’s hockey will close out the regular season on the road, in Guelph on Saturday to play the Gryphons, and taking on Laurier on Sunday.
