Hybrid pop-classical ensemble set to make noise

The Montreal-based pop-classical hybrid group Plumes Ensemble will perform on the UWindsor campus Monday, March 13, as part of the Noiseborder Festival.

Singer-songwriter and guitarist Veronica Charnley, former front person for the Canadian indie rock group Flotilla, is joined by composer and multi-instrumentalist Geof Holbrook, harpist Éveline Grégoire-Rousseau, violist Pemi Paull and clarinettist Katie Schoepflin.

Their concert will open at 7:30 p.m. in Studio A, on the lower level of Lambton Tower. Admission is $20, with a student rate of $5. Order tickets in advance online or by phone at 519-263-3000, ext. 4212.
