Conference to explore journey of healthy aging

Aging often brings unwelcomes changes, but they don’t have to cause distress, says psychology professor Carlin Miller. She is one of four women with ties to the University of Windsor who will present during a June 14 conference on healthy aging and spirituality, hosted by Assumption University and Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare.

Dr. Miller will explore how mindfulness practices can result in a better quality of life in a keynote address to open “Living your best life” at the Fogolar Furlan Club.

Workshop presenters include UWindsor grads Maria Giannotti and Margaret Muzyka, and palliative care nurse Michelle O’Rourke, an alumna of Assumption University.
