Lancer Recreation is now accepting registration for its 2017 summer camps programs, providing children ages 4 to 17 a variety of experiences all summer long.

The new engineering camp offers hands-on activities to introduce the concepts of aerodynamics, forces and motion, fluid dynamics, material strength, and the design process. Additional learning opportunities include robotics, computer programming, chess, and the Leader in Training Camp preparing high school students to work in a camp themselves.

Sports camps are led by varsity athletes and coaches. The co-ed baseball/fastpitch camp hones skills in hitting, pitching, base-running and the intricacies of the games — strategies that help mold raw talent into complete players. Other sports offered include basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, track and field and the hockey academy on the ice of the Central Park Athletic Centre.
