Graduation congratulations not just for Convocation celebrations

Convocation season is over, but celebration of secondary and elementary school graduation is just about to start. The Campus Bookstore is ready with congratulatory gifts for these students as well, says marketing co-ordinator Martin Deck.

“We have plenty of grad gifts that aren’t university-specific,” he says.

He points to mugs with general congratulatory messages and a new product that proved popular during last week’s convocation ceremonies — the Galileo Pen.

“The Galileo Pens offer a great incentive: with every purchase, the company donates a pencil case full of school supplies to a child in need,” Deck says. “It’s the perfect gift that keeps giving.”

The pens are double-ended, with one end for writing and the second a stylus for use with touch screens. The Campus Bookstore sells them for $19.95 each.
