University recruiters headed to provincial showcase

A team of more than 100 students, faculty, and staff will represent Windsor at the Ontario Universities’ Fair, September 28 to 30 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The event showcases all 21 Ontario universities for some 120,000 visitors and marks the start of the student recruitment season, says Chris Busch, associate vice-president, enrolment management.

“The fair gives us a chance to introduce ourselves to people from all over the province looking for information on opportunities in post-secondary education,” Busch says. “We are incredibly fortunate to be able to field a wonderful contingent to help spread the word about our programs, services, and community.”

Personal contact is key to generating an invitation list to the next major recruitment event, the November 3 fall open house. Visiting the campus also qualifies prospective students for a free tuition draw. Find details on the student recruitment website.
