Support makes impact on student successes: campaign co-ordinator

Contributors to the Annual Giving Program have the ability to direct their donations to the area of their choice, says co-ordinator Nicole Broderick.

“The impact of gifts from our faculty, staff, and retirees is felt directly by UWindsor students, as 100 per cent of the donation goes directly to their designation,” she says.

A pancake breakfast Nov. 20 launched this year’s campaign, which saw pledge cards distributed across campus.

“Last year, our generous employees and retirees raised more than $333,000, with an average gift of $562,” says Broderick. “The goal for this year is to increase the average gift to $575.”

She notes there are a number of ways to give: through payroll deduction, credit card, automatic bank withdrawal, or cheque.

To make a contribution or change an existing pledge, email AnnualGiving@uwindsor.ca or phone Broderick at 519-253-3000, ext. 4279.
