EPICentre fêtes five years of promoting entrepreneurship

More than 100 faculty, staff, and students gathered Friday, Feb. 1, at Willistead Manor to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the University’s Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre).

Officials and alumni described their experiences, including a keynote address by Mike Chachula, founder of Foursixty, which helps brands and bloggers monetize Instagram content. Chachula discussed how EPICentre helped him to make his company the “global leader in shoppable Instagram technology.”

The occasion also marked the debut of the short documentary “EPICentre: Past, Present, and Future,” highlighting its genesis, milestones, and goals. Watch it here:
