A symposium on systemic oppression faced by racialized minorities will feature presentations by an ethnically diverse panel, March 22 in Windsor Hall.
The event promises vendors and artistic performances as well as the panel discussion. It will run 6 to 9 p.m. in the building which houses UWindsor’s School of Social Work at 167 Ferry St.
Entitled “Real Talk,” it is organized by Making It Awkward: Challenging Anti-Black Racism, a student-led social advocacy group. Admission is free, but space is limited; reserve a spot through Eventbrite.
