After 10 years of travelling to Toronto for training from the Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario, Maryan Amalow is excited to see the group host a symposium in Windsor.

The executive director of the Organization of Part-time University Students, Amalow says “We the Students” is a great opportunity for activists to learn skills and tools to promote accessible and affordable post-secondary education.

Organizers promise that attendees will gain understanding of outreach, coalition-building, and how to develop campaigns to increase student capacity and collective power.

The free event runs Tuesday and Wednesday, July 30 and 31, in room 102, Toldo Health Education Centre.
