Neighbourhood walks to explore ghostly haunts

Drama students will scare up some stories from Windsor’s past during public strolls through streets neighbouring campus Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 29 and 30.

The Haunted Walks are a project of the Nature of Theatre class taught this semester by Simon du Toit. Students in professor Esther Van Eek’s class in Stage Make-up will be helping out as well.

All of the ghost tales portrayed are true, says du Toit.

“Much of the material used on the walks is drawn from the works of (English instructor) Marty Gervais,” he says. “Who knew that this place has so many ghosts?”

Walks leave from the Jackman Dramatic Art Centre each evening at 7 and 8:30 p.m.
