A professor of mathematical economics and member of the Polish Senate will lead a workshop hosted by the Cross-Border Institute on Monday, Nov. 25.
In his presentation “Generalized Regression Methods with Applications,” Jozef Zajac will discuss the use in economics of a new theoretical technique.
Prof. Zajac specializes in a range of uses of complex analysis and mathematical economics. His academic career includes stints as rector of the State School of Higher Education in Chelm, and head of the Department of Applied Mathematics in Economics at the Catholic University in Lublin.
