UWindsor president Robert Gordon has released a video expressing appreciation for the patience of the campus community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
UWindsor president Robert Gordon expresses appreciation for the patience and understanding of the campus community during the unprecedented period of the COVID-19 pandemic in a video message released Wednesday.
“This has been and continues to be a very stressful and uncertain time for all of us and our families,” he says in the video. “Your health and safety have been and will continue to be our highest priority.”
Dr. Gordon notes that the University has been relying on guidance from public health officials in making decisions to help keep students and employees safe. He calls on faculty and staff to work together in the days and weeks to come.
“We want to assure everyone that we are doing all we can do to complete the term in the least intrusive way possible under these circumstances,” Gordon says.
