SHARCNET and Compute Canada offer resources to COVID-19 researchers

The role of big data in the study of the novel coronavirus is beginning to take shape, and Compute Canada and SHARCNET invite researchers to avail themselves of computing resources as they work to address the pandemic.

Support from Compute Canada includes access to and assistance with cloud, advanced, and high-performance computing resources.

Compute Canada and SHARCNET’s operations are mostly online and those services continue as always. Meetings that would normally be held in person are being conducted online using Zoom.

UWindsor researchers who would like to access SHARCNET resources, help using those resources, or have other questions are invited to contact Paul Preney, high performance and technical computing consultant, at preney@uwindsor.ca.
