FAHSS invites first year students to a virtual Meet Your Reach Team Live Event

Incoming students in the faculty of arts, humanities, and social sciences (FAHSS) are invited to a live virtual event to meet the student advisors who make up the Reach Peer Advising Team this academic year.

Reach is an online peer supporting program designed to provide support to first and second-year students, who receive advice and tips from an upper year student relating to:

  • Student life (Joining clubs, extra-curricular activities, on-campus involvement);
  • Study skills strategies;
  • Time management strategies;
  • Campus resources/services;
  • Transition to university, frequently asked questions

Team members include: Julia Harnadek, Cheryl Pan, Jenny Loiselle, Lauren Lopez, Emily Mullins, Victoria Cotton, Cheyann Labadie, Kiley Moltrassie, Isabella Bobbie, and Carolyne Andzoa. They are coached by Tony Vo, coordinator of student success initiatives in FAHSS.

The team invites incoming students to join them this Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 1:00pm for a virtual introduction and conversation with your Reach Peers.

The event will also include a  live draw for a gift card
