Peer Support Centre open to students during Winter semester

The Peer Support Centre has been operating via Zoom and will continue to serve students online for the remainder of the semester.

The drop-in centre has been operating exclusively online this year, providing students from across campus with a supportive peer to talk to. It’s a safe and inclusive space where trained volunteers offer peer counselling to students.

All volunteers have an interest in mental health and ensuring that students are supported in their journey, says co-ordinator Bianca Colaluca.

Students feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or just needing to see a friendly face to get through the day, can connect with the centre at uwsa.ca/services/psc/connect/.
