Session to answer questions on animal emotions

UWindsor students and faculty are invited to a question-and-answer session with an expert on animal behavior, compassionate conservation, and animal protection Thursday, March 18.

Marc Bekoff is professor emeritus of ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has published 31 books, including Canine Confidential: Why Dogs Do What They Do; and with Jessica Pierce:

  • The Animals’ Agenda: Freedom, Compassion, and Coexistence in the Human Age;
  • Unleashing Your Dog: A Field Guide to Giving Your Canine Companion the Best Life Possible; and
  • the forthcoming A Dog's World: Imagining the Lives of Dogs in a World Without Humans, scheduled for publication by Princeton University Press in fall 2021.
