Ontario University Athletics will pause university sport effective immediately, the league announced Friday.
OUA programming — scrimmages, exhibition games, tournaments, league competition, championships — originally scheduled to start back up Jan. 6 will commence no earlier than Monday, Jan. 24.
The league will continue to assess the state of the COVID-19 pandemic and will extend this pause beyond Jan. 24 if necessary.
