Looking for financial advice? We’ve got just the spot for you

Over the past month, you might have noticed a new colourful and welcoming hub located on the main floor of the CAW Student Centre and wondering what it might be.

On March 7, The University celebrated the official opening of partner RBC OnCampus. Building on the RBC Future Launch initiative — RBC’s 10 year, $500 million commitment to youth across Canada — the space is designed to provide the convenience of being on campus, with a focus on financial wellness, and aims to empower students on their path to independence.

RBC OnCampus assistant manager Riley Gifford and advisors UWindsor alumni Lydia Ughulu (MM 2019) and Daniel Zappio (BComm 2018) make this no ordinary banking experience. In fact, the three advisors are experts in budgeting, providing advice on saving, and investing for the future, and are passionate about supporting international students.

This team can support you virtually or in-person depending on what’s more convenient for you. Just some of their notable services include: account openings, building credit, loan applications, career advice for clients and non-clients, helpful workshops, plus so much more.

The UWindsor RBC OnCampus is open every weekday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
