Materials update information on mental health resources

Student Health, Counselling and Wellness Services has launched a new mental health resource handout for students, an updated collection of student support resources for staff and faculty, and a new online Mental Health and Wellness Resource Guide with an extended list of available mental health resources on campus and in the community, including supports available for specific populations.

All printed and electronic handouts, posters, and resources from the Wellness Office that were distributed prior to the pandemic are now retired, as there have been several changes to community service access since 2020, including services that have since closed and new services that have opened.

For the most up-to-date information on campus and community mental health supports and to download updated electronic handouts, visit www.uwindsor.ca/wellness.

The Wellness Office requests that faculty, staff, student groups, and service units ensure that any older wellness resources — handouts, digital files, posters, etc. — that they are currently distributing or displaying be replaced with the new updated versions that have recently been launched.

Printed copies of the updated handouts and posters are available on request by emailing wellness@uwindsor.ca.
