Concerts to connect campus community

A series of noontime concerts featuring UWindsor alumni will bring together the campus community to enjoy the sounds of summer.

Sponsored by the Office of the President, the series will open Monday, June 20, with a performance by drummer and poet Teajai Travis.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket at noon to the grassy area between Assumption Hall and Assumption Church, find a spot in the shade or sun as you prefer, and partake of a serving of complimentary gelato. The concert will relocate to the student centre Commons in the event of inclement weather.

“This concert series will provide faculty, staff, and students with a welcomed opportunity to unwind in an informal setting as we increasingly return to campus,” said president Rob Gordon. “I look forward to reconnecting with our colleagues from across the University.”

Additional events are in the works for July and August.
