Pride history on display in library

The Leddy Library has mounted displays on Pride history: one showing variations in the development of Pride flags, and another on Windsor’s 2SLGBTQIA+ heritage, in celebration of the city’s Pride Week.

The displays include a timeline that features such highlights as the Canadian Union of Public Employees winning municipal workers protections for sexual orientation, CJAM airing Windsor’s first gay-themed radio show, and the founding of Windsor Pride.
