Scholarship promotes higher education for potential leaders

Without naming them, Tim Brunet says he can think of students at the University of Windsor who would make good candidates as McCall MacBain Scholars.

The program is Canada’s first comprehensive leadership scholarship for master’s and second-entry professional undergraduate studies. It covers all tuition and fees for full-time master’s or professional studies at McGill University, a living stipend of $2,000 per month during academic terms, and mentorship, advisors, and coaching.

“UWindsor has several students who are natural fit for the scholarships due to their academic excellence and community involvement,” says Dr. Brunet, co-ordinator of Outstanding Scholars and Student Leadership in the Student Success and Leadership Centre.

The application deadline for admissions in summer of fall 2023 is Sept. 21, 2022.
